Too many athletes and their coaches limit their potential by shooting practice rounds without a specific purpose. We believe in training all six critical dimensions of excellence in clay target shooting: Equipment, Technique, Visual, Mental, Physical, and Coachability. Mastering these dimensions molds the total athlete, ready to excel in all situations, weather conditions, and the many other challenges our sport throws at you. 

BSA values honest self-assessment as the key to growth. Using the BSA Performance Profile, we track progress and tailor custom training plans based on each athlete’s or coach’s goals.

Our approach follows periodization, moving from fundamentals to advanced skills, ensuring continuous improvement and long-term success. At BSA, it’s not just about training—it’s about training smarter to reach your full potential.

BSA integrates cutting-edge technology to enhance visualization and refine training plans. We utilize tools like ShotKam, Garmin, AimCam, and other advanced solutions to analyze performance and provide targeted feedback. Our state-of-the-art TrueClays simulator offers year-round training and in-depth athlete analysis, ensuring each shooter gets the data-driven insights needed for a tailored training plan. At BSA, technology isn’t just an add-on—it’s a key part of training smarter and performing better.

BSA athletes have achieved numerous USA and SCTP State and National Championships across all clay target disciplines, including All-State, HOA, and HAA titles. Most of our youth athletes are heavily recruited and go on to have successful collegiate careers.

But we don’t just develop youth athletes—BSA shooters also include USA, ATA, NSCA, and NSSA state and national champions, proving that our training produces elite competitors at every level.

BSA Academy Athletes have access to online materials through our BSA Portal. During open training hours, athletes can access a state-of-the-art TrueClays simulator, fitness equipment, and other development tools to help unlock their potential.
