Our instructors are certified by international bodies such as ISSF and USA Shooting, as well as national organizations like NSSA, NSCA, NRA, and many others. They bring decades of competitive and coaching experience at the highest levels.
But more importantly, they are educators, mentors, and motivators—committed to developing the total athlete or coach-athlete.
We focus on building deep trust and transformational relationships, tailoring instruction to need. Our coaches continually evolve through ongoing education in sports science, performance psychology, and technology-enhanced feedback, ensuring that BSA remains on the cutting edge of elite training.
“Great coaches don’t just teach technique. They develop people.”
— Core BSA Philosophy
BSA Development Framework®
Too many athletes and their coaches limit their potential by shooting without a specific purpose. We believe in training all six critical dimensions of excellence in clay target shooting: Equipment, Technique, Visual, Mental, Physical, and Coachability.
Mastering these dimensions molds the total athlete, ready to excel in all situations, weather conditions, and the many other challenges our sport throws at you.
BSA values honest self-assessment as the key to growth. Using the BSA Performance Profile® and BSA Development Framework®, we tailor custom training plans. Progress is monitored, and the approach is fine-tuned to maximize the outcome.
Our approach follows a periodization model, progressing from fundamentals to advanced skills, ensuring continuous improvement and long-term success. At BSA, it’s not just about training—it’s about training smarter to reach your full potential.
BSA integrates cutting-edge technology to enhance visualization and refine training plans. We utilize tools like ShotKam, Garmin, AimCam, and other advanced solutions to analyze performance and provide targeted feedback. Our state-of-the-art TrueClays simulator offers year-round training and in-depth athlete analysis, ensuring each shooter gets the data-driven insights needed for a tailored training plan.
At BSA, technology isn’t just an add-on—it’s a key part of training smarter and ultimately performing better.
BSA athletes and coach-athletes have achieved numerous USA and SCTP State and National Championships across all clay target disciplines, including All-State, HOA, and HAA titles. Most of our youth athletes are heavily recruited and go on to have successful collegiate careers and beyond.
But we don’t just develop youth athletes—BSA shooters also include USA, ATA, NSCA, and NSSA state and national champions, proving that our training produces elite competitors across all the disciplines, at every level.
During open training hours or training sessions, athletes can access a state-of-the-art TrueClays simulator, videography, fitness equipment, and other development tools to help unlock their potential.
BSA Academy Athletes also have access to online materials and engage in our social community through our BSA Portal. Once you are a member of the family, you have access to a wealth of knowledge from coaches, instructors, and athletes. BSA members value the power of the community to help everyone get better.
